Instructions

Brewing Instructions (for Eighty Eighth Night Premium Sencha and High-Grade Karigane Genmaicha)

1. Boil water.
2. Cool the hot water to 70-80 degrees Celsius.
3. Add leaves to teapot. (1 tsp per serving)
4. Pour water to teapot - brew 60 sec.
5. Pour tea into teacup - pour until the last drop.

Brewing instructions for Karigane Houjicha
1. Boil water.
2. Add leaves to teapot. (1 heaping tsp per serving)
3. Pour water to teapot - brew 30 sec.
4. Pour tea into teacup - pour until the last drop.
*Don't over-seep the tea as it will reduce the aroma!
*We will enclose English instructions in the package.


Storage Instructions

  • Keep it away from heat, sunlight, and humidity as much as possible. Keep it sealed to prevent air and other smells from affecting the tea.

    Worthwhile Set to Experience Green Tea

    This is a great set to enjoy and experience the versatility of Green tea. I drink tea almost daily and having different options at hands helps me to keep the drinking tea experience interesting and varied. My favourite is the Sencha tea, but the Houjicha and Genmaicha are a really close second. I like that the team at Tealife includes instructions for brewing the tea at the right temperatures and for the right amount of time, and even suggestions for cold brews etc. The service from the team at Tealife is great. They are responsive and knowledgable. The delivery is great too. I don't usually leave reviews on websites; nevertheless, the service provided by the team is worth leaving this review.

    This sampler pack is a good deal to try the different types of tea to know what you like. I have only tried the kukicha and sencha, and both are aromatic and taste like what good Japanese tea should taste like. Look forward to trying more of others

    Open sencha and the houjicha already, so far so good. Support is really good.

    Excellent service and speedy delivery. My previous tea experience was tsuen in kyoto so to be fair not a lot of experience but it tastes like expected (only tried the genmaicha so far; the mix of brown rice and green tea is quite soothing). Probably would try other products from tealife again.
