    Complex, grass and subtle hints of passionfruit. Requires low heat brewing for best effect.

A great entry point into Fukamushi-sencha with its fantastic richness and mellowness to go along with an almost fruity aroma.

Origin: Shizuoka, Japan
Area Brand: Shizuoka-cha / Tenryu-cha / Kakegawa-cha
Ingredients: 100% pure tea leaves. That's all.

Cultivar: Yabukita

 

Produced by blending tea leaves of the Yabukita cultivar from the Tenryu area (Tenryu-cha) and Kakegawa area (Kakegawa-cha) of the Shizuoka prefecture.

 

Tenryu-cha is grown on the sloped riversides of the Tenryu river, where the river fog naturally enriches the umami and softness of the tea leaves.
Kakegawa-cha is one of the origins of Fukamushi-sencha. They have sweetness and a hint of astringent aftertaste which adds a strength to the tea.


The blended product is a multi-dimensional, well balanced, rich, smooth and mellow tea with an almost fruity aroma.

Brewing Instructions (2 servings)
1. Boil water.
2. Cool the hot water to 70 degrees Celsius.
3. Add leaves to teapot. (4g per 2 servings)
4. Pour 240ml of water to teapot - brew 30 sec.
5. Pour tea into teacup - pour until the last drop.

*We will enclose English instructions in the package.

 

Storing Instructions
Store in refrigerator if unopened.
Return to room temperature before opening.
Store opened packages in a cool shaded place.
