Premium Kaga-Bou Houjicha (Kaga-Boucha) 70g by Koudoen

i am so happy that i chanced upon tealife because they really carry some of the best japanese teas i’ve ever had! this houjicha is of exceptional quality — its aroma invades your surroundings the moment you open the pack and i really like how the taste isn’t overpowering yet still very fragrant in every sip. i drink this most mornings and it’s done a superb job in kickstarting my day on the right note! also, the biggest thank you to yuki for being an ever patient, friendly and fantastic seller, always entertaining all the questions that i have. it’s been an absolute joy shopping here and i would definitely be back for more!! ;-)

Was able to buy this during the sale. Yes as the other reviews say, it has nice and strong nutty aromas. It's a good tea.

Honestly I was stunned at how powerful the aroma of the tea came into my nose when i first opened the package. You can almost feel the particles rushing into your nose... that's how strong they felt! It's actually unlike any Houjicha I was accustomed to. Very flowery and nutty smell - unlike the damp kind of smell that other Houjicha I've tasted before might have. My recommendation is to drink the tea when it's cooled down a little, I think It's hard to taste the tea when it's boiling temperature. Superb tea in my opinion, highly recommended.

If you like roasted teas and nutty aromas, then I would highly recommend this. I love inhaling the nutty aromas of this tea. The taste is great too!
