Ingredients

  • The Aoarashi is a great first step into the world of Matcha. It's an excellent entry-grade Matcha with great balance of umami and floral notes. 

  • The name "Aoarashi" resembles a fresh wind carrying the sent of spring green. A fitting name to one of our most popular Matchas.

  • Traditional, authentic, stone-ground Matcha powder slowly milled to perfection. This tea is suitable for Usucha (Thin-tea) preparation. A great practice Matcha for traditional Japanese tea ceremonies.

  • An Uji tea (Ujicha), as is all other Matcha produced by Marukyu Koyamaen. Ujicha, a symbol of premier quality, is a trademark for Japanese tea grown and produced in the historic Uji region of Japan.

  • It is an excellent source of antioxidants. Enjoy your mindfulness morning with this tea and boost your energy and immunity throughout the day.

Instructions

Usucha Matcha Preparation

  • Matcha Powder: 1.5g - 2.0g of Matcha powder for 60-70 ml of water.
  • Water Temperature: 75°-85° Celsius
  • Steps: Add powder into a Matcha bowl, add water, and mix using a bamboo whisk (Chasen)
  • Tips: Pre-sift the powder with a tea sifter for a smooth Matcha

Storage Instructions

  • Keep it away from heat, sunlight, and humidity as much as possible. Keep it sealed to prevent air and other smells from affecting the tea.
