Throughout the year, we will seek different areas of Japan, tasting different tea types, cultivars, and brands of Japanese tea while deep-diving and learning about each one.
From the newfound cultivars possessing incredible scents, born in the land of Sayama, to the award-winning teas of Shizuoka or Kyoto, there is a lot to get excited about and explore!
It's the best Japanese tea experience possible in Singapore!
I'll be sourcing and trying different teas for this program every month. Many teas will be ones we don't carry in our shop!

How does this program work?
You will receive an additional pouch of tea from the "Japanese Tea Traveler Program" when you make your first order of the month.
If you're eligible, it's completely free!
You don't even have to sign-up anymore! I'll add you into the program once you've hit the eligibility status.
There are 2 tiers to the program.
The Momiji Traveller Tier
- You will receive one additional tea from the Japanese Tea Traveler program every month you make an order. (Sencha type: 10g, or Hojicha type: 5g)
- You're eligible if you've ordered more than SGD 100 from Tealife within the calendar year! (Also, if you receive a special invite)
The Sakura Traveller Tier
- You will receive two additional teas from the Japanese Tea Traveler program every month you make an order. (Sencha type: 10g, or Hojicha type: 5g each)
- You're eligible if you've ordered more than SGD 300 from Tealife within the calendar year! (Also, if you receive a special invite)

FAQs
What is an example of the tea I will receive?
The first tea of this program is an exceptional Sencha. It's a Sayama-cha, one of the Three Great Teas of Japan, as it comes from the Saitama area of Japan. However, it's a new cultivar with the same aromatic substances as a Sakura flower!
It's something you can only experience in this Japanese Tea Traveler program! Don't miss out!
When does this start?
This program begins in November of 2022. We will send out the first tea from the Japanese Tea Traveler program to all members who order our products in November.
How long will my traveler tier remain?
The eligibility tier lasts until the end of the following full calendar year.
For example, if you purchase enough from our Tealife shop in Nov 2022, your eligibility will remain until the end of Dec 2023.
If you purchase enough within 2023, you will be eligible again for the calendar year 2024.

Is Matcha or other powdered forms of tea included in this program?
No, we only include loose-leaf tea at the moment.
Why are you doing this?
I've always wanted to do it because it's the best way to share the diverse experiences of Japanese tea. I truly hope you enjoy the experience too.
