Named after the Isuzu river near the Ise Shrine, its pure and fresh taste perfectly resembles this delicous green tea.

Marukyu Koyamaen is one of the top Matcha producers in Japan. The Isuzu is one of their Signature Matchas.
It's clearly a cut above the Aoarashi, with a much more refined flavor and umami and lower astringency.

Instructions
Usucha Matcha Preparation
- Matcha Powder: 1.5g - 2.0g of Matcha powder for 60-70 ml of water.
- Water Temperature: 75°-85° Celsius
- Steps: Add powder into a Matcha bowl, add water, and mix using a bamboo whisk (Chasen)
- Tips: Pre-sift the powder with a tea sifter for a smooth Matcha
Storage Instructions
- Keep it away from heat, sunlight, and humidity as much as possible. Keep it sealed to prevent air and other smells from affecting the tea.

Quality tea
Quality tea, mildly fragrant. It has a dark yet bright green color (not the deadly looking green) Definitely gives you a decent cup of tea. Trying out other tea to see which I like better though!

Isuzu Matcha
Having been to Japan a number of times, and having tasted good authentic matcha in Singapore, I have been searching for a good matcha for some time now. I have tried matcha from a number of different companies, but was never fully satisfied. This is the second type of Matcha I have tried through TeaLife and I must say this is the best. It has a beautiful aroma and smooth taste. I have Isuzu matcha at least twice a day. Recommended for anyone who wants to have experience authentic Japanese Matcha in Singapore.

This is a really terrific Matcha, definitely recommended for those of you who are looking for some Matcha to drink on a regular basis. I use Matcha in replacement of coffee, as coffee has been too strong for my stomach these days. I used to get some Matcha elsewhere but the taste wasn't too nice... and drinking Matcha that isn't too nice is quite the torture lol. Isuzu was really nice and creamy and thick - much better than the ones I tried before. Definitely I'll buy this again, but might also try other Matcha in the store.
